You will be helping to develop the Hubs communication activities using its website, social media, marketing and analytics while providing general assistance to the team. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys the digital space and is passionate about improving the lives of people with disabilities.
Delivered by Creative Process Digital LTD, the apprenticeship will be based in London’s future tech powerhouse on the Olympic Park. You will be working on all things digital, supporting the Global Disability Innovation Hub as it works to improve the lives of disabled people across the world through innovation and collaboration.
Weekly wage: £365.00
Working week: mon-fri 9.00am- 5.30pm 37.5 hrs per week incl training

Learn to update the company website using a content management system
Image editing - cropping, resizing, other Photoshop work
Help build the online presence though Search Engine Optimisation

Support for other digital developments / activities e.g. commissioning films
Preparation of marketing material
General support to the team
Learn to manage social media across different platforms and work with the Hub Manager to promote the GDI Hub and increase the centre’s social media engagement.
We will support you to develop new ideas to promote the Hub using social media and the website
General and Administrative
You will learn to provide front of house services ensuring that all visitors are greeted and managed professionally
Support colleagues with general duties and digital assistance as and when required
We will support you to use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel

Requirements and prospects
A keen interest in digital technologies
Able to display a knowledge of disability issues, social media & digital business practices
Some knowledge of HTML and how websites work is desirable (an understanding of Drupal would be advantageous)
Experience in the use of social media management systems would be advantageous
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
An understanding or experience of analytics packages such as Google
A good level of English writing, speaking and numeracy is essential
A lived experience of disability is desirable
Able to deal with people from diverse backgrounds
Displays a high level of attention to detail
Displays initiative and problem solving skills
Able to work as part of a small team

Ongoing employment for the right candidate (most of our apprentices work hard, achieve their apprenticeship qualification, develop sought after skills and are then employed on an ongoing basis after their apprenticeship).

You will be trained in the Advanced Digital Media Apprenticeship and achieve a diploma qualification at level 3 (equivalent to two good A levels in one year).
This comprises of; Level 3 Certificate in Creative and Digital Media; this is the knowledge element of the apprenticeship and will help to prepare the apprentice for work in the digital, tech or creative sector. The apprentice completes training units that are based on useful skills that they can apply within the workplace.
Level 3 Diploma in Creative and Digital Media Competence; this gives the apprentice a vocational qualification which supports, assesses and validates the skills and knowledge which they gain in the workplace. The aim of the Diploma is to give the apprentice the opportunity to develop the competencies required to become more effective at the job that they do.
Functional Skills; qualifications in English, Maths and ICT that equip individuals with the basic, practical skills required in everyday life and work. Personal Learning and Thinking Skills (PLTS); these are essential skills for work and general learning.
