Multistakeholder dialogue on investing in digital public infrastructure for equitable future health systems, with assistive technology as a use case

Alongside the Summit of the Future Action Days at the UN, September 20-21, the WHO GATE initiative and the Global Initiative on Digital Health have joined forces to co-host alongside the Government of Estonia, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the Global Disability Innovation Hub (GDIH), and Transform Health, a multistakeholder dialogue on investing in digital public infrastructure for equitable future health systems, with assistive technology as a use case.

This dialogue will focus on overcoming the fragmentation in digital health transformation and exploring how countries can lead inclusive and equitable changes in their health systems. Key topics include the challenges of financing, governance, and developing the infrastructure required to ensure that digital health is accessible to all. The use case of assistive technology will highlight the importance of improving access to essential health products for the 2.5 billion people in need worldwide.

Date: Saturday, 21 September, 11:15 – 12:30 EST
